a talent like no other

Jane Perrett knew she was a singer from an early age. Singing along to jingles on the radio and her father's country music record, her vocal talents were recognized and encouraged. She began performing Christmas Carols to any audience who would listen, and many took notice of her singing abilities. At the age of thirteen, jane began private voice lessons and also attended several summer music programs throughout her teen years. Shortly after Jane's seventeenth birthday she was introduced to the accomplished European Soprano, Maria Wrozsek, and began her training as a classical soprano. Her operatic gifts developed under Wrozsek's tutelage where she was taught to focus on vocal accuracy and finding her own voice. Her stringent training helped her develop her voice from what had previously described as a Mezzo- Soprano into a much broader range of ability. Jane is now considered a Dramatic Coloratura Soprano. This color of voice mixes the depth and warmth of a Mezzo Soprano with the high, strong notes and flexibility expected of a Coloratura Soprano.

Jane has sung before such luminaries as the Queen of England, Canadian heads of state, and with celebrities like David Foster. She has also trained with Canadian Mezzo Soprano, Judith Forest, Canadian Soprano Heidi Klassen, and Coloratura Soprano, tracy Dahl. Today Jane Perrett's childhood dreams have come true as the sound of her amazing voice touches hearts and entertains audiences wherever she sings. Whether accompanied by a grand piano or an entire orchestra, Jane's voice soars in songs of inspiration, joy, and romance.
